UL Students Design Little Libraries

A constructed box with round holes cut from it suggesting moon craters. In the upper right hand corner is the NASA logo with the words 'Moon Little Library' superimposed.
UL School of Architecture students have designed Little Libraries for installation around Lafayette Parish.  The top 6 designs, as chosen by a panel of judges, will be constructed by the Lafayette Parish School System’s Career Center, with materials donated by Kiwanis of Acadiana. For ideas, we earlier posted a sample of current Little Free Libraries.

ReadingWithKids.org will host a fundraiser in April, where the winning Libraries will be auctioned to raise money for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, ReadingWithKids.org, and the UL College of the Arts.
