Kiwanis of Acadiana has added three new Little Libraries to locations in the Lafayette area.
After Heidi Paterson with The Outreach Center visited Kiwanis of Acadiana, the Kiwanians visited The Center and installed a Little Free Library. The Center provides housing assistance and shelter needs for those experiencing homelessness in our community.
Previously, a Little Library was installed at the Prodigy Early Learning Center, Youngsville. Most recently, KoA installed a Little Library in another laundromat.
This brings the total to six Little Libraries installed. In just 8 months, since June of 2025, ReadingWithKids.org volunteers have provided KoA with over 700 books for stocking the Libraries.
